Temp has been widely used in the companies as it serves as the most easiest and approachable means of recruiting and selecting the employees. The attitude of today’s workforce is driven by rewarding employment opportunities coupled with career guidance and flexibility to choose the nature and duration of work. Furthermore, many employees choose temporary employment as an avenue to exhibit their talents to the client organization, which could be a stepping-stone to a full-time permanent career. Temporary employment has often been an effective entry route into big companies. The following research has been done with an attempt to know to what extent does temp services affect the working of the company. I have done a case study in a Recruitment Consultancy to analysis the fact. This study is conducted by collecting and analyzing the data from primary and secondary sources. The sample size of the recruiters were eight recruitment consultants, and one Manager. The research has ends with the suggestion that the consultancy should maintain database, conduct pre-interviews and comprehend employee zeal to work while recruiting and selecting.
