Emotional Intelligence And Job Satisfaction: A Study Of Hdfc Bank Employees In Rajasthan

In last few years, the banking sector has witnessed many changes in policies, high competition due to the opening of private players in banking sector. As a result of such changes, the workforce is experiencing high level of job dissatisfaction. This study aims at determining the awareness of Emotional intelligence and Job satisfaction among employees of HDFC Bank in Rajasthan. A total of 382 respondents filled up the questionnaires. The data was cleaned for erroneous and incomplete entries. The final data had 368 respondents. The objective of this research was to the awareness of Emotional Intelligence among bank employees and to study the level of Job Satisfaction among them. The construct structure of Emotional Intelligence and Job Satisfaction were determined using the Factor Analysis. This research has shown that emotional intelligence is not gender based.
