THE POTENTIAL AND POSSIBILITIES OF TEACHER EDUCATION IN ASSAM IN THE CONTEXT OF NEP, 2020

This paper is an attempt to study the current scenario of teacher education in the state of Assam and identify the associated prospects and challenges in imparting quality teacher training among school teachers. The study also explores the impact of National Education Policy (NEP), 2020 upon the teacher training and its future consequences.
