Empowering women is essential to unleashing the potential of a group that has been traditionally sidelined in decision-making and progress. This research utilized secondary data for analysis. Numerous literary works and online sources were utilized to conduct a thorough examination of the role of women in sustainable development. The aim of this paper is to examine how empowering women contributes to reaching sustainable development objectives and analyze the various initiatives implemented by the Government to improve the status of women.
