This study examines the use of green technology, as well as what it may contribute to, the industrial sector of Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. This research is both quantitative (150 surveyed organizations) and qualitative (interviews with industry executives and officials).The green technologies claims appear to be up to a 33.33% improvement on emissions, waste and resource use on all major environmental indicators, says the claim summary. Regression analysis, however, provides strong evidence of correlation of green tech adoption with pollution mitigation.
