The study examined how employment status, education, and family type influence participation and autonomy in financial decision-making. The results showed that women in Gurugram seem to be more involved in managing their finances and believe that their choices regarding loans and mortgages are given greater weight. And in Kaithal, women are strongly engaged in household purchases and daily expenses. These findings highlight the need for targeted financial awareness programs, policies that promote higher education and employment for women, and greater access to professional financial guidance.
