Beverage consumption is highly influenced by psychological, behavioral, and lifestyle-related factors beyond just physiological needs. Consumer preferences play an essential role in navigating beverage selection with choices through personal motives, conscious evaluations, and context-based influences. The study aimed to examine Conscious Beverage Consumption and Consumer Preferences Among Adults. It explores the differences across demographic variables like gender, age group, and occupational status. The study followed a quantitative cross-sectional research design, where data was collected using a self-developed survey comprising 26 items scored on a Likert scale. The sample collected was 172 participants within the study. Descriptive statistics were computed to summarize the characteristics of the data and response patterns, along with inferential statistics, including an independent samples T-test to examine the differences among gender and occupational status. On analyzing the participants, it indicated moderate to relatively high levels of preference driven beverage consumption. Based on independent T Test, a significant gender difference (p <0.05) was observed, with females reporting a higher mean score than males. No statistically significant differences (p >0.05) were found across occupational status and age groups, indicating no differences in conscious preference-based consumption. The study contributes to the understanding of preference-based consumer beverage behavior by integrating behavioral and psychological perspectives and offering implications for further research.
