Today, due to India’s significantly higher smartphone usage and adoption rate, led to an incredible uptake of banking based on mobile application. The aim of this study was to analyse the behavioural intention factors that have affected the acceptance and use of mobile banking system of commercial banks in India. Prevalent theory aimed at examining the factors that precede the choice to accept mobile banking is UTAUT2. Data was collected from 502 mobile banking users to take part in the research. To explore these m-banking acceptance context extracted items and two major dimensions (performance expectancy and effort expectancy) based on the variables found in the UTAUT2 model are examined. This data was analysed using SPSS 22. Factor analysis and multiple linear regressions model were used to process the data. The study’s conclusions showed guidance to commercial banks in defining their strategies to better meet the evolving needs of their customers.
